Andy Askins has built a reputation as a distinctive and original talent — a performer and joke writer who has shared stages with Michael McIntyre, Lee Evans, Jason Manford, Alan Carr, Jimmy Carr, Micky Flanagan, Harry Hill, Rhod Gilbert, Bill Bailey and Jack Dee.
He has appeared on The John Bishop Show (BBC1) and the John Bishop Christmas Show alongside Kylie Minogue and Olly Murs, recorded for Comedy Central and two series of Live at the Comedy Store, and performed everywhere from a company of soldiers in Saddam Hussein's palace in Iraq to a sold-out Royal Albert Hall for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
More recently he's become a headliner at sea for Virgin Voyages and P&O Cruises; toured the Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane Comedy Festivals with Mary Tobin Presents 'Best of British' followed by the New Zealand Comedy Festival; and in 2026 played the Perth and Sydney Comedy Festivals — closing the end-of-festival Sydney Comedy Gala at the Enmore Theatre.
